Pppoker Bot Now in Beta Testing

Poker bots for Pppoker are here. We just posted Holdem Bot version 9.6.0 which includes beta testing for 6-max tables on Pppoker, which can be downloaded at:

http://shankydownload.com/hedownload.htm

We expect to have our Omaha Bots updated soon to include this support as well, so check the download page for 9.6.0 or higher at:

http://bonusbots.com/omahapokerbot.htm

Please note this is beta testing so there may be a few bugs to weed out on certain systems. Poker software settings are extremely simple; you just need English language and to set the table size at 338 X 600. The first screen you will see upon logging in is:

Pppoker login screen

Close this window by clicking the X in the upper right, and you will come to:

Pppoker poker bot settings screen

Here you can set the language and screen size. That’s it. In addition, the bot should work on both the software download or the flash/web version of the tables! Keep in mind only 6-max tables are thus far supported.

We do intend to add support in our Omaha Poker Bots for 5-card Omaha at Pppoker, but that will take a little longer to get done because there are new drawing hand dynamics, such as a 24-out straight draw, which will require PPL Code updates as well.

New Poker Bot Profiles in versions 9.5.6

New versions of all our poker bots have been posted which include freshly updated profiles and improved performance features. You can download version 9.5.6 of our Holdem and Omaha Bots at:

http://shankydownload.com/hedownload.htm

We continue to get outstanding customer feedback on the current generation of Shanky Poker Bot software. Recent comments include:

“I entered the bot in a $10 + $1 tournament. I’m currently past the bubble and 2nd in chip rank in the whole event! I have to say that this bot is a keeper!”

“I’ve just recently started to play online poker again and I’ve been reacquainted with your bot program. It’s marvelous to say the least!”

“Your bot started winning for me the day I got it. Very nice product!”

Regarding the new profiles: The most radical changes have been to our Omaha-Hi Bot, especially the cash game profiles. These needed to loosen up for today’s games and adjust better to overly -aggressive villains. We are also including a new Heads Up version in the download. It can be used in full ring games, since the random bluffing codelines only trigger when starting the hand heads up before the flop.

This image shows results from testing the new Head Up profile at a short-handed PL10 6-max table (as these tend to be, with opponents coming and going a lot for brief spells). We quadrupled up after buying in for a half-stack! Not too shabby…

Omaha Poker Bot Re-Release Announcement

We are happy to announce the re-release of both our Omaha Poker Bots. They have been brought completely up to date with our Holdem Bot, so now work on all the same sites and tables, on both Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines at all our supported sites. (This includes all iPoker sites in all countries, Igntion, Americas Cardroom, BetOnline, Bovada, 888 Poker, and all the rest of them.)

Download either or both Omaha Bots version 9.5.3 right now, here:

http://shankydownload.com/omdownload.htm

The beta testers for these bots were excited at their results. Pot Limit Omaha, in both forms, appears to be an extremely fishy environment. Here are a few comments:

“Just watched the Omaha cash profile double its stack with top full house. It played the hand perfectly, suckering in the opponent, who held trips, little by little for his whole stack.”

“I tried the Hi-Lo MTT profile in exactly one SNG and it cruised to 2nd place. It made no questionable plays. I don’t think this needs any more testing.”

“Really glad to see the Omaha bots back, as there is a boom in this game with lots of loose chips to be had.”

To celebrate the Omaha Bot re-release, this week only we are offering all non-expired Holdem Bot license holders the opportunity to buy the Omaha Bot package for the renewal price, which is only $77 for the bundle. This includes a 1-year license for the Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo bots. If you own an expired Holdem Bot license, all you need to do is renew it — then you can get both Omaha bots for the renewal bundle.

And, of course, if you ever owned either Omaha bot in the past, you also qualify for the bundle renewal deal as well. We probably have your records on file, so just ask.

Current Site Support:

iPoker support: We’re pretty sure all iPoker sites in all countries are working. You tell us.

Bodog & Bovada are both still supported, including Bodog88 in Asia and South America

USA Players: BetOnline Poker, Ignition Casino Poker, Bovada, America’s Cardroom, Black Chip, PokerKing, Tiger Gaming, and Sportsbetting.ag are all “game on” for our bot on both Windows 7 and Windows 10.

France: The bot currently works at Betclic.fr in both the French and English language, but should also work on any other iPoker site there now

Italy: Eurobet.it, Titanbet.it, Bet365.it, 888.it and Betfair.it all now work in both the Italian and English languages, plus the bot should work at all other iPoker sites here now.

Spain: 888.es, Bet365.es, and Betfair.es are now all working in Spain, plus the bot should work at all other iPoker sites here now.

888 Poker is still supported but caution is now advised there, as they have been getting moody about their bot-tolerance policies lately – so don’t keep too much in your account. You also need to use the older poker client, not the one with the blue felt. (The rest of our supported rooms are all pretty safe, as none of them have bothered us at all.)

That’s it for now. If you need a license for any of our bots, there’s a link for buying one on the bot itself – or else feel free to reply to this email for special purchasing instructions. Have fun botting Omaha and we’ll see you or your bot at the final table.

Cheers,

Shanky Technologies Team

Dafa Poker Bot for China

Holdem Bot version 9.4.8 is one of the most stable versions we have ever posted. It includes Dafa Poker support, so is now a poker bot for China as well. It is available for download right now, here:

http://shankydownload.com/hedownload.htm

Full functionality across all our supported sited and networks is reported in all markets, with very few individual glitches being reported. If you have been waiting for a top performing version of our software before getting back into poker botting, this is it. Download this baby today and give it a test drive.

Included in our latest support work are:

• Full Windows 10 support for the WPN Network. This includes Americas Cardroom, Black Chip, and PokerKing. Multi-tabling now works flawlessly here, and the bot will allow you to multi-table up to 6 tables (we advise tempering that some with your system capabilities and screen size, of course).

• Full iPoker / Playtech network support for all sites in all countries. This is a long list that includes sites in Spain, Italy, France, and now China with Dafa Poker. Be aware that the Holdem Bot needs English language settings everywhere except Italy.

• Ignition/Bovada/Bodog completely fixed and patched. They made it tough on us with so many recent software tweaks, but we stayed with it and the bot is playing like a champ on these sites – which have perhaps the best MTTs – on both Windows 10 and Windows 7. We can’t even tell you how many high-money finishes have been reported to us by our bot in large-field tournaments.

Speaking of Poker Bots for China, we are currently looking at the PPpoker software. Someone has given us an account with access to a few games, so we should be able to add support for this if we perceive the demand. We don’t quite understand the market or how this “network” works, though, so if you want to lobby for a PPpoker bot please contact us to tell us all about it. And thanks!

We will leave you today with a graph from our forum from the infamous KGB profile playing small buy-in SNG-style tourneys:

Poker Bots in 2019

Here it is almost 2019. Wow. Do you realize we here at Shanky Technologies have been selling our poker bot software for almost 12 years? A lot has happened on the online poker landscape since March of 2007, when we started selling our Holdem Bot. Good times have come and gone, huge poker site scandals have scarred the news headlines, and individual countries have enacted various national laws to attempt to control the trade. Through it all, we are still here. Many of our original members still frequent our forum.

I have had several phone conversations with the owner of RaketheRake over the years. Nice guy. He likes us, though he must maintain an official position of pretending he doesn’t. One of our more memorable conversations occurred several years after the fallout from the USA legal fiasco, when most of the big operators were scared away from the country. I mentioned that our business had been cut by 2/3 from the glory days, upon which he assured me we were doing well to “hang on to that one-third,” as his business was operating at 10% of its peak. In my last conversation with him, several years later, they were still grinding away, same as us, hoping for some progress in individual state sanctioning of online poker (while lamenting that it will probably take another decade to become significant enough to explode the industry again).

Public awareness of poker bots has increased. Most players know about them nowadays. Heck, 888 Poker even published an article about playing against poker bots. In the last twelve years, we here at Shanky have watched inferior competitors come and go. The result of all this is an overall acceptance of bots as part of the landscape, and even a growing acceptance of them as a legitimate type of opponent. You just don’t see the angry rants about them any longer on the big poker bulletin boards. One day soon we may even see a “bots welcome” sign hanging on the front page of a poker site.

Shanky Technologies certainly has no plans on going anywhere. Not after developing the best commercial poker bot ever conceived, and expending so much effort maintaining and increasing site support. We love this business, and this hobby. When you become part of the Shanky family, you join a lasting legacy. Ask any of our old school members.

I can probably guess your next question: What’s the best way to use the bot in 2019? The answer is, of course, however you want to! That said, it is generally agreed among botters that MTTs are the easiest form of online poker to profitably bot. Especially freeze-outs, and especially large fields of 200+. Throw in a large-stack format and you have the perfect environment for a bot. Remember, a bot’s advantages play to situations that require patience and longevity. Unfortunately, large field, large-stack freeze-outs don’t exactly stuff the daily event lists. That’s okay.

You can profitably bot rebuy events, too. But in these you need a consistent method of managing the number of rebuys you purchase. Rebuying too many times will kill your overall results. The way I play rebuy events is as follows: I buy in, sit out, let the blinds go by, then rebuy once right away. Then I keep sitting out until the first hour is over, whereupon I make the add-on rebuy at the break. This puts me in the elimination stage with a slightly lower than average stack, but it is more than made up for by the fact 20% of the field is usually already eliminated. Another decent way to approach rebuy events is to simply never rebuy at all, and just let the bot play from the beginning. That way is more of a grind, but costs considerably less. It’s all about a consistent philosophy which gives you an edge over the field long-term investment wise. Take me seriously on this. Start managing your rebuys with a consistent philosophy and watch your bankroll grow.

The MTT profile that comes in the bot is excellent for tournaments of all sizes and buy-ins. If you haven’t used our bot in a while, be sure to download the latest version. We publish 2-3 updates per month on average. If you need a license, there’s a link for buying one on the bot itself. Have fun at the tables in 2019 and we’ll see you or your bot at the final table soon.
