Holdem Bot version 4.6.9 has been posted.

• Support for .ppl files added. These are simply copy-protected profiles in a binary format that have been converted from the normal text profiles.

The .ppl profiles create an additional layer between the original default programming and the user-defined text profiles. At any given time one .ppl file and one .txt file can be loaded into the bot. They can both also be auto-loaded by default. They can be swapped out at will. The text files are loaded at the top level and override everything, as usual.

The Holdem Bot now downloads with Doodle version 70 converted to .ppl format, set to auto-load. This becomes an additional layer between the user profile and the original default programming, and an additional file that comes in the download bundle. Nothing changes in regards to the profiles that you are already using. The end reult is simply better-playing default programming.

The Holdem Bot User Manual has been updated; see the section near the front about using profiles for more information.

Profile sellers will soon have the option to convert their profiles into .ppl format as well, including licensed versions. Stay tuned for an announcement about that within a few days.

• AmountToCall fixed back to not being capped by stacksize. it was better before so we switched it back.

• Custom Bet Sizing no longer in beta testing, new option menu item allows you to adjust the default programming bet/raise size for the Flop, turn, and River.

Holdem Bot version 4.6.6 has been posted.

Critical fixes.

• AmountToCall fixed. Version 4.6.5 had a typo throwing this variable out of whack.

• Invalid opponent count issues should now be fixed because the new code that was apparently responsible for it has been removed. We are still trying to get to the bottom of it so if you have a debugging version please do follow up with it.

• In blind reading errors when opponents at the table are sitting out now fixed for both UB and FTP

Holdem Bot Version 4.6.5 has been posted.

• New messages in bot window when incorrect display settings on your PC are detected

• AmountToCall PPL variable now correctly capped by stacksize

• Custom bet sizing issue at UB fixed; was timing out sometimes after an incorrect bet size, should now always use Betpot when a custom betsize doesn’t take

• UB occasional incorrect opponent count issue fixed; this was caused by the new auto table-type correction feature at this room

• New log messages in an attempt to help identify the cause of any future errors more quickly
