I'm a new to poker botting, I just brought the bot, and have been playing around with the free/default profiles that came along with holdem bot. I'm playing at bodog's network, I have been trying to using the free profile on the Zone(Speed/Zoom/Fast-fold) poker. It seem that both the doodle/6-packs perform quite weak at 5NL speed poker. Maybe I need to collect more sample size to draw the conclusion.
Is it because the Zone poker players are too strong even at the 5nl level? or should I trying wildbill, green book?

These are not profile issues. The problem is not reading the opponent's bets or raises and thinking bets = 0, raises = 0, and/or amounttocall is 0. We should split this off into a Help Board topic and figure out why.

I am using 6pack with my own preflop code (doodle v112 in background), I just want to ask about this hand. Are we considering the stack of opponent when we steal? The opponent has 20BB left and will surely call us if opponent has 2ndtoppair due to shortstack and we only have bottom pair. What do you think about this? Btw the oppponent folded.

Not sure what you mean by "steal" but I have no problem with the play. Must be a randomized small % check-raise from the default profile.

I do not believe any of our cash game profiles consider the opponent's stack size. Even if it did, I still like the play.

I am trying a mix of pre-flop-turn 6 pack and river taken from "retribution" (super precise and winning profile in the long run)... but I have to tell you that it has one of the most "human" games I've ever seen your 6pack!
 Sometimes it exceeds in aggression and can lose/win stacks at random... but inserting a river more oriented to bluff catching that as "retribution" I saw a really nice game !
 I try 30,000 hands and then maybe I'il give you graph..
It is true that with mtt you make money (I have to say that your mtt profile with a cbet flop calmed by me, is really gaining now for almost a year on a constant basis), but 6pack is really a pleasure to watch it in action!

It's not so much what he does, "6pack" has in his game beautiful bluffs on missed river.. it just lacks bleff catching codes, if I'm wrong about it tell me as well.. instead I saw calling "retribution" river that maybe I would not have done either, finding the opponent empty ... so I can't give you log files to edit, in the sense that 6pack doesn't do anything wrong... I would only add those moves.... but I don't know how .. that's your job  and then if I can afford:
-AA and kk with only one opponent I would send him allin after only one raise, maybe randomizing it to 40%. at MICROS there are too many callstations , but this is easy to code..
-has a nice code 3bet, on the 4bet from sb vs bb, and from btn on blinds (many bots 3bet wide from sb) maybe I would increase the range a little by inserting (99-TT- jj)

-I would add a random code 20% of 4bet all in con (qq-jj-ak)from btn on 3bet of sb, it looks LOOSE, but for micros it would give a turn in aggression "of value", wild Bill style but without exceeding in frequency..

I've been running 6pack for the last couple of days and I must say that I love it. As a LAG player myself i really enjoy just watching it dominate a table through pure well thought out aggression!

What a great job you have done on this profile.

It is really good for grinding out bonusses as well  

BTW. i tried WildBill as well, but 6pack is far far superior, as wildbill can go on some crazy tilts

The check-raise was a randomized action based on the fact the villain made a small bet on the flop in relation to pot size, a common anti-bot tactic. I don't really have a problem with it, since it is a 50% randomized action designed to keep them from stealing pots with small bets (right out of Super System 1).

Calling the re-raise is more interesting as it was referred to the root level programming. But, according to the reported data, at that point we were calling 4 in a 33-size pot which I think is pretty much automatic with almost any hand getting over 8-1 odds. I can also see an argument  for folding too, but I don't see the play as a leak either way.

Yeah I see your point there. The flop check-raise when heads up with a non-dangerous board is randomized heads-up poker.

But the Turn check-raise is a 100% action (not randomized) and a little too much I think. A straight bet would have been better after the flop check-raise, and probably randomized is better.

If I can afford, on a bleff like this on the turn, I would keep the randomization at 10%, if not remove it at all .... in the end the k as well as the ace fall within the opening range in this case ... but wanting to continue in the bleff on the turn I would put the condition
"not (board = akq)" .. it will be more plausible a trips on low cards rather than on a / k / q from caller in sb / bb ... what do you say?
