Is that the out of the Box Retribution? I'm still trying to get to grips with it as I know you can modify a few variables which can force the bot to play a raise or fold style game.

So far I've had more luck with the default out of the box Retribution profile.

Yes that was out of the box -- I am also working on getting through all the code and  understanding its play -- I do have edits that I need to make based on 12K hands now --- All of these edits are tied to turn and river play just haven't gotten to this yet.

Good to know it's not me, the more I try the included variables, the more I'm convinced the more conservative play out of the out of the box is the way forward, it does some weird stuff on the river some times.

At some point I'll look into making some changes to the code and run some tests, but first I have to claw back that $99 dollars for the upfront cost!

Out of the box play is the suggested way to use the profile. The variables are usually a way for players to customize the code or a change of pace style of play.

Players on some sites and stakes may benefit from using them, but default should be the usual way of playing.

I've been using this for about a month and I'm finally turning consistent (but low) profits on NL 01.02. Over around 5000 hands the graph goes up, so I'm happy. Will push up to NL 02.04 at some point.

Be aware that the out of the box code has certain overrides enabled which effectively hamstring it, it took a long time for me to dissect the code and realise what was going on. The core code is exceptional, it just could be made clearer what was going on and what can and should be commented out.
