From what I am hearing, we need another iPoker room which accomplishes the following:

• 57% rakeback deal

• Most people don't already have an account there, so they can get the rakeback deal at iPoker

• EU approved room, so is tax-free

• Is friendly towards countries who have locked online poker inside the country, for example Italy and Spain (I guess France has used a titanium lock) one way or another

I was thinking Boyles Poker, but I guess it is not a tax-free EU room, so if there something which fits the above bill please tell us about it and also let us know where the rakeback deals can be obtained.

 thanks

I should also add that the rakeback guy for Boyles gives a free U.K. VPN (UK IP address) and Boyles does not check ID so players from Italy, Spain, and Denmark should be able to play there using Neteller/Moneybookers and a fake address on their poker account.

laugh "I guess France has used a titanium lock"

France has used a law ... a very simple law to complete the initial law ... it requires all sites to pay online (neteller, Skrill, paypal ..) a reporting financial transactions related to gaming, paris sports and poker sites in foreign sites unlicensed in France to the authority  regulation of online gaming (ARJEL) and TRACFIN (special cell taxes: Treatment of Intelligence and Action against clandestine financial circuits)

is the regulation EGOR ... regulation is a 5bet all in and we..fold   Grin

not currently - we are discussing whether we should add it, or maybe a different room - your request for Winner Poker is noted, but does not meet all the requirements listed above

Another consideration (for cash game players) is which skins will make the cut if/when the network gets split on Sept 1st.

Boyle probably won't. Paddy Power probably will. (850 new depositing players each month is tough)

57% rakeback, also some ipoker skinn do not show and allow to play at micro nl2, for example from the other supported room i can play only on bet365 and they do not show nl2.

...and as seth pointed out we will probably wait until after the network split in September before doing anything, but I want to get the discussion going now so we can make a decision ahead of time

according to the guy that offer the rb boyle will remain in the main network with william hill e someone else.
also i don't think the split will concerne bot, because they will split cash-games up to $2/4 blinds, will technically remain as single network (same sng, same mtt and same micro/medium cash game)

"In the middle are the likes of Boyle Poker and Winner Poker who generally abide by the rules of the network but simply aren’t big enough, or don’t have a large enough catchment area to pull in so many new players. It’s hard to see how Boyle Poker who market almost exclusively to the small population of Ireland will be able to pull in 850 new real money players every month. "

.. waste of time most likely

class A -> Class B -> Network change ... just like gutshot

Don't get me wrong. I think Boylepoker with a deal better than their standard vip one would be a great choice.

They are as near to 100% rock solid in terms of funds being secure as you're going to get and as has been mentioned, sng's and mtt's (and most likely speed) won't be affected by the network split. I think they could have met the new requirements in the past, when sponsoring Sunderland and pulling in new International Poker Open and Irish players, but I doubt it now, especially if the Black Belt subskin regs are counted in as part of their stats.

Winner is "just" a WH badged site/subskin. I have no info on whether they will be assessed separately to WH, but with WH being majority shareholders in the network, I guess they'll come out of it OK.

(Gutshot was a different thing. I wouldn't have trusted those guys with more than the price of a round of drinks)

I thought it was the micro cash games being segregated and the high stakes stuff staying network-wide (which makes more sense)

a non-EU site with 57% RB is not really needed when we already can get 60% flat on poker770 and WillHill?

playing taxfree would be worth more

"They are as near to 100% rock solid in terms of funds being secure"

lol... licensed by Kahnawake Mohawk Territory

you remember fulltilt? UB?

Con's for Boylesports:

- Licensed in kahnawake meaning out funds is not in anyway safe. compared to EU-licensed sites from malta/gilbatrar.

- NOT Tax-free

- Is very likely not able to stay in Class A ipoker for very long.

Pro's for Boylesports:

- 57% Rakeback (which you can get on willhill and poker770 already... and on betmost which is more secure)

Pro's for Betfred:

- EU-licensed and a safe place to have your money

- Tax-Free

- Great promotions which will give you a high rakeback (not flat though)

- Accepts danish players

- Class A ipoker 4 sure

Con's for Betfred:

- No flat rakeback afaik
