There has been some new country legislation and the iPoker deal is being affected. The best deal possible was still negotiated, but it is now only 58% rake back to the player instead of the former 60%. It is still a very lucrative deal, but I want to make sure the Shanky community has all of the information that I have.

Also, I am going to see if I can get together some results from iPoker. I do not have any formal graphs from full ring at all and several players have told me that the profile is doing very well in this format on iPoker.

It is my personal belief that 6-handed cash games are the absolute toughest (well besides heads up maybe) arena for a bot to excel. With that said, it is still doing quite well after all this time. But I have recently been made aware that I have not posted anything for full ring, which I think to be an easier place for a bot to win. I am going to see if I can get together some full ring data for the profile. Hopefully I will be able to post something soon.

The details are not really important other than the deal is being affected. It is the best deal we could currently get on the site given some recent changes. I cannot expand any further in an open forum other than to say this does not affect the site itself, only an affiliate.

Forgive my ignorance on this question as I am no computer programmer by any means. I am not sure what language the bot currently uses, but if the latest version is 2.0 with user-defined variables and all, then I use it. This has all been coded recently and I still am messing with it, so whatever the current language is, then that is what I am using.

Yes there are 3 strategies in the profile. I would feel more comfortable getting into specifics over pm or email. I have no problem elaborating, but the last thing I want to do is publicly announce how it plays to the whole forum while other players are running it. This is one of the strongest profiles there is post-flop, so using it with less than a 100bb buy-in, especially on the sites that allow top-ups, is leaving money on the table. It plays fine with a shorter stack, but it is strongest deepstacked and against thinking players and other bots.

Thanks AK, this is certainly the norm with strategy and privacy, but I think I can shed some light on this publicly without compromising anybody's profile or information in any way. I am glad to see somebody has learned the company line though.      

There are 11 total categories. 2 are simply guidance and direction while 3 get very little action as they are site specific and there has not been much to talk about for those sites. Each category has a place to put threads and sub-topics, much like this forum. All in all there are 43 total topics. Some are just announcements while others are actively engaged threads. There is a whole category and several different threads dedicated to bonuses and deals alone.

All in all, a forum like this is really just a sub set of this much larger community here. It is by no means critical to be a part of since all of the members exist in this community as well. It is tight knit group that until very recently was basically a dead place on the internet. Over the last few months thanks to some exclusive bonuses and deals, as well as some new highly active posters, it has come to life and is more what I envisioned from the start. There are helpful tips, special deals, upcoming announcements, quick updates for the code in text form, and sometimes a spirited discussion about how to play a particular hand regarding the profile.

The forum has been instrumental for me to think of areas in which to evolve the code, and is a nice place to offer some good deals to a small group, but is in no way the real value of a profile. These things are just designed to accompany the profile and is my way to say to the community that I am in this for the right reasons and will continue to be made available.

P.S. I am in the process of beginning a tournament profile, hopefully with the gracious help of a few (or several) community members. I have already sent an email to a respected member regarding the use of his free profile as a base, as this would certainly expedite this process. I will then talk to top brass and make sure everything is on the up and up and provide details. This will alter the forum purpose some and is the reason that I bring it up.

Is any good information really ever too much information......

I have no problem putting this out there and may have even mentioned it myself at some point. SethUnter is absolutely right, there is some short-stack code and a few lines to make sure it does not play insane with a monster stack, but the in between is the bulk of the work. I have always told players not to go below about 80bbs or so, since at that point you are just leaving money on the table when you get that perfect situation. I have gone to bed before and seen it claw its way back from the dead quite nicely though.

While I won't speak to specifics, I think it is foolish when I see bots running around playing with like 7 bbs at a table and it is obviously not a human at the control. I have tried to safe-guard against this for the sake of playing good poker, but also to look a little less like a bot. (Except for the Poker Table Ratings of 100,000+ hands on really micro limits, I cannot control that and it screams bot almost every time).

I will be continuing the work of Tetre in a SnG/tournament profile entitled "Revolution." I will most likely post the details tomorrow in a separate sales thread. The short version is that I have made some very small progress on the work of Tetre. I plan to continue this progress and hope to enlist the help of some members of the forum to do so. It will be minimally priced and is intended to be partially as a gift back to the community as well as an opportunity for others to learn how to code by seeing how updates are done.

I am a fairly good coder in my own right, but would never had the vision from the start that Tetre had. I respect his work immensely and do this in the hopes of paying respect to this man, rather than claiming to surpass him in anyway. I look forward to seeing how far we can take this project.

It is my belief that most botters eventually learn at least small amounts of code, so this allows everybody to customize the profile and alter the profile somewhat if they so choose. With this, I encourage everybody to make a slightly altered preflop with it at some point to cycle back and forth between to keep players guessing a bit more.

I will be setting up the Revolution sales thread in a day or 2, but will also start giving out copies of this tournament profile with sales of EndGame. The opposite however will not be true, as Revolution sales will not be getting the latest cash profile.

And yes, I partially refunded the difference to Didaz as I would have felt really bad if he had made the purchase at one price and then I dropped the price a day later.
