Stars, Full tilt all hit by the feds.
Their accounts have been seized.
No US players allowed to play.
Wow.

how would the feds be able to seize only US players' funds and not others'? Do the sites give this cash over willingly? I mean if they want to punish the poker sites they could just seize everything and let them fight for it in court.

I am in the USA. All those websites load fine for me. I just logged into UB and joined a table. The Bot is working fine.
There are 14,000+ people playing right now at UB just like always.
I smell a major hoax, or hackers, or something.
Online gambling is not illegal in the USA. There is a law that prevents banks from making transfers back and forth to online gambling sites, but that is all. There are about a dozen indivdual states with online gambling laws, but there is no federal law.
If this is real, these businesses no doubt have contingency plans in place. Money talks folks. Any banking issues will probably be fixed quickly at a site like Poker Stars.

I was also able to log onto UB but I decided to just withdraw everything. I'd rather not take the chance. If it is just some kinda of hoax I can always redeposit

Am I the only one who finds it slightly funny that those over at 2+2 try so hard to get our accounts banned at poker sites and now a large majority of them may also be losing their accounts with us

Well, if I can still login, still play, still deposit and withdraw, the number of people playing appears to be normal, and the websites still come up, I don't see how it makes much difference. Just another bump in the road for online poker.
Saying anything to the contrary is pure speculation at this point, since all of the above appear to be working from my corner of the USA.

HAHAHA bodog so SLY
1:57 p.m. PDT: PokerNews has contacted Bodog for a comment on the recent events, and according to a Bodog representative it is "business as usual at Bodog for U.S. customers."
I never botted much when fulltilt was available, but it was pretty fishy right? What if all those fish just move to bodog??
All this assuming worst case scenario
