They were a popular Merge skin in the U.S. Must have done OK to be able to buy-out Cake. Will be interesting to see if/when Cake changes as a result.

you saw 2,5K players (real money & play money) but never 20K
the 6 month Average was about 700 real moneyplayers
and the trend is going down (to 600 now)

That is a bit hard to understand - they are buying the rest of the network then and Cake will be independent?

what I read is that the new revolution network will be owned and run by lock poker and consist of cake network players

Rakeback is going up to 36% for all skins on the "new" network, including cake

Makes no sense then how Cake is retaining its own identity....

It's only confusing because cake poker (the skin) and cake (the network) have the same name but it's like merge own carbon, playtech own titan etc.

The guys that own both the network and the skin are selling the cake network to lock and it'll become the revolution network, but the cake poker skin and players are not part of the deal and cake poker will become a customer/licensee/skin on the revolution network.

They are selling their wholesale business, but keeping their retail store.

I don't know if the bot will work on Cake/Redstar when things change there at the start of June. Best guess is that it will for a while, at least

What is known is that rakeback is going up to 36%, from 33%, USA players will be allowed in all states except Utah and that nickname changes will be stopped.

NB If you don't like your cake/redstar nickname, change it before it becomes permanent on June 1st.

Yep, seems like a decent increase in cashgame traffic during USA friendly hours and the new mtt schedule looks good. Still very little sng action, but don's are running.

With a little observation and game selection, there is free money there for both bot and manual play.

Make hay while the sun shines !!!!
