Introducing Tom: 5 New Cash Game Profiles
«

I was recently commissioned by one of our private support job clients to create an additional 5 profiles. They wanted to fill their tables with bots using different playing styles that mimic typical cardroom players. That project finished up recently, and I have decided to modify those profiles more for our purposes and post them here with the willingness to develop them further.
You guys should know the drill. Pick a profile and run it, watch it play when you can, scour the log after the session for stack-affecting plays and make suggestions for improvements here on this thread by posting the hand from the log with your suggestion. Be sure to state which profile you were using (and be darn sure of that please)!
The profile names should tell you about the playing styles. Most of the effective preflop code is original in each profile, as well as a short section of post-flop code on each round. Three of these use 6pack as a backup; the exceptions are Tyrant Tom (which uses Wild Bill as a post-flop backup but with a 250 BB threshold for tightening up instead of the 150 Wild Bill uses) and Timid Tom which goes straight to Doodle for backup.
Here they are:
Tight Tom

Timid Tom

Trapper Tom

Tricky Tom

hello egor, thank you for the new profiles! I wanted to ask you , specifically this variable indicates the times that the cbet is carried out regardless of what we pair with the flop?
"When BotsLastPreflopAction = raise and bets = 0 and raises = 0 and opponents <= 2 and random <= 65 userflopcbet"
in this case it means that he will carry out 65% cbet on 100 hands?
Thank you!

Yes! Correct! Welcome to the Tom thread. The 65% is regardless of holdings. It should be noted that the 35% of time it misses the profile will still bet hands programmed to bet further down in the code so the actual % is somewhat higher, probably closer to 85%.
I also want to add that suggestions for improvements should stay within the intended playing style of the profile. For example, suggesting that Trapper Tom bet a hand outright instead of check-calling would defeat the style so will probably not be implemented.

Right... then I ask you, if you can describe to me the highlights and style differences between the "timid" and the "tight", and between "tricky" and "tyrant". so as not to give unnecessary advice...

Tight Tom
: For those of you who prefer tight, solid play.
Timid Tom
: Not quite as tight, but holds back on the aggression.
Trapper Tom
: Looks to break those aggressive bluffers by check-calling them to the river with strong hands.
Tricky Tom
: Always mixing things up and somewhat afflicted by “fancy play syndrome.”
Tyrant Tom
: Just a serious table bully, but knows when to back down too (well, sometimes).

Well that was embarrassing
Version 2 fixed it (up now).

You're welcome.
I tested Tricky last night, the start is interesting, I'm waiting to do more hands with it.
I did not see any other error in the other profiles, thank you for your sharing.

Not sure but I would think either tight or wild may be the way to play those.

Tried TrickyTom tonight and want to give some positive feedback.
It's been just over breakeven against the players on the table (been here for about 2 hrs), and the players at the table are absolute donkeys (calling allins with 52offsuit, etc.. I mean, just mad crazy fishy donks!).
I'm really enjoying these 2 lines and have incorporated them into my own profiles because they are kicking ass:
Code:
When BotsLastPreflopAction = raise and Bets = 0 and Raises = 0 and opponents <= 2 and random <= 75 userflopcbet
Code:
When userflopcbet and opponents = 1 and Bets = 0 and Raises = 0 and botslastaction = bet and not (raisesonflop or havenuts) and random <= 60 bet 47% force

Timid Tom:
Shanky Technologies Holdem Version 11.1.9 Hand: 6s 7c
Players = 5 Fold
hands played in session = 3
in timer: players = 5, folds in game= 2, raises = 1, checks = 0, calls = 0, bets = 0, folds = 2
casino = Ignition 6 Max, No Limit Cash, BB = 0.05, Pot = 5 BBs, Stack = 4.95, TI = 0 BBs
Amount To Call = 4 BBs
In Button
User defined variable useropenrangebut set to true at line 89
Matching user defined condition at line 105, Action = call force
clicking Call
Flop: 8s Kd Jh
Hand: 6s 7c
Board: 3 suits no possible straight
both hand cards are black
in timer: players = 5, folds in game= 4, raises = 0, checks = 1, calls = 0, bets = 0, folds = 0
casino = Ignition 6 Max, No Limit Cash, BB = 0.05, Pot = 9 BBs, Stack = 4.75, TI = 4 BBs
Amount To Call = 0 BBs
opponents = 1, position = last
Fold or Bet if checked and fold for a raise
Not betting because of Never Bet Below option value
clicking Check
Turn: 8s Kd Jh 9h
Hand: 6s 7c
Board: No Pair possible straight (up to two of one suit), two cards needed to make straight
have straight draw
in timer: players = 5, folds in game= 4, raises = 0, checks = 0, calls = 0, bets = 1, folds = 0
casino = Ignition 6 Max, No Limit Cash, BB = 0.05, Pot = 14 BBs, Stack = 4.75, TI = 4 BBs
Amount To Call = 5 BBs
opponents = 1, position = last
If Pot Size >= 11 big blinds Play if no raise else fold
Default Profile: "Doodle v113", Action = fold force
clicking Fold
Line 105:
When raises = 1 and useropenrangebut and amounttocall <= 8 call force
Egor .... Do you really want to call up to 8 BB here?
I realize this hand was 4 BB, but it would call up to 8BB preflop with 67o. I realize position is good, but is this proper play?

Thanks for testing Timid Tom, Phil!
I didn't think there would be a mad rush to try that one.
Yes you are certainly right about that so I fixed this loose raise-calling in version 2 which is now posted (you may need to refresh the page):

This was for timid tom, but your link is for tricky Tom.
Which one was updated (or maybe they both need it)?

My bad, fixed. Just Timid Tom. The others don't seem to have the same issue but I am certainly open to more logs and suggestions from all of them!

Tim Tom:
The following is from version 1 of the profile but will still need fixed
Shanky Technologies Holdem Version 11.1.9 Hand: Kc Ah
Players = 5 have AK
Raise if no raises but fold if 2 raises cold else play
hands played in session = 47
in timer: players = 5, folds in game= 4, raises = 1, checks = 0, calls = 0, bets = 0, folds = 4
casino = Ignition 6 Max, No Limit Cash, BB = 0.05, Pot = 4 BBs, Stack = 3.55, TI = 1 BBs
Amount To Call = 2 BBs
In Big Blind
Default Profile: "Doodle v113", Action = raise 4 force
Matching user defined condition at line 141, Action = fold force
clicking Fold
It appears the entire BB play is missing from the profile.
I also noticed a logic issue:
When stilltoact = 0 and not (useropenrangesb) fold force
^this can never be true since useropenrangesb has stilltoact = 1 as a defined variable
