From member lucky1:

*******
Basic strategy for playing low stakes ($10 and under) SNGs
During the first two or three blind levels, you want to play super-tight. You should be perfectly content folding every hand during this time. This helps keep you out of risky situations with All-In Donkeys, and allows you to get a feel for your opponents.

During the early rounds, you will raise with pocket pairs of Aces down to Tens from any position. You will also raise with A-K and A-Q from any position. You will always play Aces and Kings strong (re-raise and re-re-raise). You will re-raise with Queens and A-K, and just call a re-re-raise. With Jacks, Tens, and A-Q, you will just call a raise and fold to a re-raise.

With A-J and pocket Nines, you will limp from early and middle position, calling a reasonable raise (usually about 3-5 times the big blind). From late position you will raise with A-J. With pocket 9s through pocket 6s, you will raise on the button if no one has entered the pot. If there are limpers, you want to just call.

With small pocket pairs, you will be limping from any position, calling a small raise when out of position, and calling a reasonable raise when you have position on my opponent.

As you progress through the blind levels and players are eliminated, you should begin to loosen up more and more. When you get to the middle rounds (once 1/3 of the table has been eliminated), You will raise with A-J and pocket 9s even in early position. you should also be more likely to re-raise with A-Q, J-J, and T-T. You will also usually re-re-raise with pocket Queens. Also begin raising with 9-9 through 6-6 from the cutoff when no one has entered the pot.

In the later rounds (just before and after the bubble) You should start loosening up even some more. You may open up for a raise with A-T and K-Q from the button. You should occasionally limp with J-T suited from late position. (I do not like K-J and Q-J, and will rarely play these hands.) You should raise with just about any pocket pair on the button if no one has entered the pot. Once we’ve made the money, You may also do this with A-9.
Short Stack Play
Once you get down to 10 big blinds or fewer,  start thinking about moving all-in. Remember that you will need a stronger hand to move all-in when you are in early position than when you are in late position and no one has entered the pot. You will also need a stronger hand if someone has already entered the pot, especially if someone has come in for a raise. The reason is that it is more likely that someone will call your all-in.

If you are sitting on ten to eight big blinds in either early position or late position with limper(s), look for any pocket pair down to sevens and A-K down to A-T. In late position with no one in the pot, push with any pocket pair and any Ace. When in late position facing a raise, push with Aces down to Nines, and A-K down to A-J. The fewer players there are left in the game, the looser you can be with your shoving requirements, e.g., pushing all-in with pocket threes when you’re down to four-handed in early position. Remember to make adjustments based on your reads of the players at the table.

If you have seven to five big blinds left, you’re going to need to look for any pocket pair or any ace. When you’re down to fewer than 5 big blinds, you’re going to need to find a hand and push. Any King, suited connectors, etc. Just remember, it is always better to push from late position with no one in the pot (unless you have a very strong hand).

Now as far as I can tell the latest version is from Sept. 14th and the profile is too long to be included in a post on this forum so is linked here:

Gotta be a settings issue on your part if it folded AA.

For the first blind level however it does fold everything except AA if I remeber correctly.

10 x 1 place
1  x 2 place
5 x 3 place

Are there any statistics on this profile?  Has anyone ran a few hundred SNG's with this profile at a given buy-in and plotted the data (or calculated ROI)?

Please read the section near the beginning of the Holdem Bot User Manual; the page about creating, saving, and loading profiles.

To use a complete text profile from the forum (such as the MTT Kit + Doodle):

1. Copy the code - just the code, in grey, but all of it
2. Paste into a blank Notepad (Start > All Programs > Accessories > Notepad)
3. Save As 'whatever' into your bot folder
4. Load by going to Holdem > Read Profile and typing in 'whatever.txt'

Alternatves to step 4:

A) Save As 'AutoProfileHoldem' and it will load automatically as the default profile every time you open a bot window

B) Save As 'holdem_profile' and it will be the default name of the profile showing in the Read Profile window, saving any typing

Do NOT add a .txt extension to the profile name when saving it from Notepad.

What happens if you use this at a room that doesn't support opponent stack size recognition?

So without modification, this profile will only work problem free at Ultimate Bet or Bodog, and to work properly at the other sites, any code referring to opponent's stack size would need to be removed?

It is only necessary if the codelines that refer to opponent stacksizes are included in critical actions in the code. I think many profiles that use them have them included as extra stuff and so they will just be read as false and the bot will execute the regular codelines. However if you have a SNG profile where all the important codelines include getting the opponent's stacksize then yes that should not be used at those rooms. because of the limitations of the opponent stacksize variables this hasn't really been that much of an issue.
