Betsize

Question on Betsize - in preflop when a villain open with a raise, does betsize include the 1 BB to call plus the raised amount, or only the raised amount? For example, UTG raises 3bb, it's 2bb for Big blind to call. Is UTG's betsize 2bb or 3bb?

In your example the BB only needs to call 2, but betsize would be 3. Amounttocall = 2.

I have found there is never any real need to use betsize and much prefer amounttocall.

Thanks Egor. Agree I never use betsize much before but now want to use it against the whole bunch of min raise preflops from ignition. I want to be more aggressive with these min raises, vs the typical 3-bet and call ranges.
