\nThis is an exciting week for us at Shanky Technologies. We just crossed two major milestones. So we thought we would bring you all up to date.

\nMilestone #1:<\/strong> Doodle Turns 81. The Doodle profile is our popular free cash game profile for NL Holdem that comes with the Holdem Bot download. It started over a year ago when we first released the PPL language for our poker bots. Egor was showing our forum members how to use it by \u201cdoodling\u201d some flop codes for slow-playing big hands. The feedback was tremendous so he added more code to it, and the rest is history.

\nThe Doodle profile is a community project and it is constantly improved as our members post hand history examples from the bot\u2019s session logs with suggestions. Those suggestions have become a lot less frequent in the past several months, as nobody is really finding much room for improvement anymore. This profile is really dialed-in now. Forum member \u201cChuck Norris\u201d is keeping a running graph of results using the latest versions in the smallest stakes Full Tilt game (.01\/.02 NL Holdem with a $2 max buyin) and you can see the latest graph with over 59,000 hands played here:

\nSo he is $48 ahead in the games and $78 ahead including rakeback. No that is not retirement kind of money, but this is playing a $2 buy-in game and the trend is definitely upward. (Most of our members who use this profile to clear the $600 deposit bonus at Full Tilt do it in NL5 or NL10 games.)

\nWe just posted version 81 of the free Doodle profile. That means we have created 81 versions of it since Egor started doodling with PPL. This is certainly the best version yet, and we expect results to improve regardless of what stakes you are using it in. It also comes with the latest version of the bot download. That would be Holdem Bot version 5.1.1 (which fully supports the latest Full Tilt software upgrade from a few days ago), so if you haven\u2019t upgraded your bot yet you should do that here:

\nMilestone #2:<\/strong> Our Support Forum Reaches 5,000 Members. What a community we have now! I can remember when it was just a few of us back in 2006 talking about pounding the casino bonuses with our Blackjack Bot and talking about maybe making a good poker bot someday. And just the other day we added member number 5,000. We\u2019ve come a long way baby! It\u2019s hard to keep up with everything going on in there on most days, even with six moderators helping out. If you haven\u2019t logged in lately you should.

\nPerhaps the most interesting section is the \u201cPersonal Players Journals\u201d where our members post their experiences and results using all the different profiles and add-on software now available for our Holdem Bot. With so many people posting great results, it\u2019s clear that it isn\u2019t just the Doodle that is kicking some tail at the tables these days. Many of you poker junkies have picked up on using PPL like a fish takes to water and are doing great things with it. After all, Egor has no programming background whatsoever \u2013 so if he can do it anybody can.
