Hi

i would like to know if for example i have :

when stilltoact = 8 UserUTG
when stilltoact = 7 UserUTG1
when stilltoact = 6 UserMid1
when stilltoact = 5 UserMid2
when stilltoact = 4 UserMid3
when stilltoact = 3 UserCutoff
when stilltoact = 2 Button

but if OpponentsAtTable = 6 on a full ring table and with a function using UserUTG to see if i am utg does its will still work or i need to  use UserMid2 instead ?

And if i need to use UserMid2 instead of UserUTG it is any other best way to detect every position with the number of player sitting at the table ?

thank you

What you label these user-defined variables as is incidental, they are simply names for what you describe. In your example UserUTG means stilltoact = 8, so no, stilltoact = 8 will never be true when stilltoact = 6 (unless stilltoact >= 6).

Thank you egor and yes i know its just label

and its what i was kinda afraid of so if i understand well to always have my correct position for each number of opponent sitting at table i need to look from stilltoact 8 to 2 if i understand it well

so basically my code need to become like that

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 8 UserUTG
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 7 UserUTG
When OpponentsAtTable = 6 and stilltoact = 6 UserUTG
When OpponentsAtTable = 5 and stilltoact = 5 UserUTG

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 7 UserUTG1
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 6 UserUTG1
When OpponentsAtTable = 6 and stilltoact = 5 UserUTG1

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 6 UserMid
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 5 UserMid
When OpponentsAtTable = 6 and stilltoact = 4 UserMid
When OpponentsAtTable = 5 and stilltoact = 4 UserMid

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 5 UserMid2
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 4 UserMid2

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 4 UserMid3

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 3 UserCutoff
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 3 UserCutoff
When OpponentsAtTable = 6 and stilltoact = 3 UserCutoff
When OpponentsAtTable = 5 and stilltoact = 3 UserCutoff

When OpponentsAtTable = 8 and stilltoact = 2 Button
When OpponentsAtTable = 7 and stilltoact = 2 Button
When OpponentsAtTable = 6 and stilltoact = 2 Button
When OpponentsAtTable = 5 and stilltoact = 2 Button

Yes i know i can use or but to make it more readable i choose to make it line by line
And yes i know i dont have anything for 5 or less player including me on table still need to look  about position strategy for less then 6 player

Yep. You just need to assign more specific labels like that and you should be good.
